This is the ninth shooting by ICE since September (I did not know that). All of them were into vehicles.

The Danish high command clarifies that Danish forces have standing orders to use lethal force to repulse any military attack on Greenland, including one by the United States. Denmark will invoke article 5 of the NATO treaty calling on other NATO members to assist it in repelling the invasion.

It is at this point the USA fixes itself or falls.

If the US moves to take over Greenland – a threat we’d be foolish to dismiss – Canada would be forced to rethink every aspect of its relations with the US. Canadian officials need to start thinking though this nightmarish scenario now, not later. It would be a seismic event.

This feels like the first death of a civil war. But then my partner reminded me that ICE has already killed dozens of people in detention centers. All I know is this is an extremely extremely clear example of injustice, the kind that foment revolution.
