Fichtner et al present the results of seismic measurements from the EastGRIP borehole in Greenland. Earthquakes that were measured in the core reveal brittle deformation mechanisms that are not accounted for in the most commonly used ice flow law, Glen's Flow Law.

Bombshell of a paper from Eric Wolff and co. Elevated d18O at the Skytrain ice core site seems to suggest WAIS collapse during the Last Interglacial is likely when compared to high resolution regional climate models. Yet, the aerosol record seems to suggest the Ronne Ice Shelf survived. 🧪❄️🥼⚒️
