Yes and then we can move to the neighborhood. I've met a few neighbors who want an e-bike but don't have a place to securely store it and bringing it up a flight or two of stairs just isn't feasible for them. Easy way to daylight side street intersections/ prevent illegal parking as well.

People won't choose the bus if they still have to sit in car traffic. To induce demand, transit needs to be frequent, reliable, and insulated from car congestion. This is a policy failure we could fix tomorrow with a dedicated lane by reallocating existing infrastructure space.

I am really glad Chicago's buses lack cameras to ticket drivers that impede the movement of buses. Just witnessed a 22 have to idle in Andersonville because it was blocked behind a double parked vehicle. Driver strolls out a shop and drives away with zero consequences for slowing down a full bus

Millions of Chicagolanders live in one suburb and commute to another suburb on trips that are simply impossible on existing transit. As city NIMBYs continue to pull up the ladder behind them by fighting more housing near existing transit, we need to create a reliable, truly regional transit network.

With drivers reporting an increase gas prices, sure would be nice if Chicago had a speedy and efficient transit system people could seamlessly transition to.....instead of buses needlessly stuck in traffic and long wait times for trains. *Sigh*
