immediately upon seeing her in Aliens as a starry-eyed & still-in-the-closet teen i developed a very queer crush on her, unsure of whether i wanted to be her or if i wanted her to quite literally dominate my ass as an adult, i realize it was definitely the latter

i remember the day i was introduced to the work of @dresdencodak.bsky.social it was one of my godparent's exes who'd owned a hard copy of The Tomorrow Girl, which drew me in with its gentle, flowing art style, & kept me hooked with its nuance. i was 13. i've officially been a fan for a decade now.

Normalize inconsistency in your art. Normalize not making every art piece super detailed and intricate. Normalize just creating art for the sake of it.
