Social media and crowdfunding have turned cartoonists into small business tyrants who are unable to show solidarity for workers or other cartoonists.

The act of mass shooting is inherently radical right wing behavior. I don’t need to dissect a manifesto or a profile to know that. Studying a shooter’s politics feels like a nation wide effort to cope with the fact that we’ve given up on any actual gun control policy coming to pass.

I often think of the time some guy tried to run over me and a bunch of protesters outside an ice facility back in 2019. It was clear to me that they would have no issues with killing peaceful protesters. It kinda shifted my mentality on what was actually necessary to stop them.

My phone is basically nothing but a spam machine at this point. This is what I’m paying for.

Maybe it's because I've spent nearly two decades not getting nominated for stuff, but I genuinely don't understand the energy that goes into being upset about not winning or whatever. I've seen award winning cartoonists come and go, it's not a great indicator of a fulfilling life as an artist.

The precision and consistency you can achieve with the process is much sharper than anything I’ve seen traditional foil stamps do.

In my day job, I’ve been developing a process to add foil elements to covers by using a material called digital foil or sleeking.
