Maintaining the dark red does give my mechs a sort of throughline and a distinctive look. The lighter red would make it a bit too Char but I think this kind of shade is a nice feel.

I am not gonna say that I feel good about this year. Or that I have idea about where to go from here. But I am gonna say that the only option is to keep going.

What a fucking year

My ideal set up is each movie has the exact same actors for five party members (Xenk's player could only make it to part of this one) but as totally different characters. One character each movie who is played by Forge's actor, sometimes a villain sometimes just some random supporting character.

Since this post i have realized how good kicks are and also that I underestimated HEAT machine guns so I have my some minor adjustments to it... also the shoulder unit is now a subcomputer for faster lock on to match my more mobile preferred fighting style. And I made the lights darker.

It is kind of a fun switcheroo that you are led to believe Maggy as the operator character will be primarily an ally and supporter of the player character to then reveal she was actually the rival. Both Verdict Day and Fires of Rubicon has some pretty fun twists on the rival concept.

My main AC for now (and will likely remain as my main build until I can get the actual HF-227 head). I do of course change things up to adapt to missions, but this is my default loadout.

Compared to Fires of Rubicon, I think VD has a slightly weaker story. While Maggy and Fatman are both great characters and I like the Foundation man as a villain, most of the cast are just not as interesting. The story itself appeals less to me too and mercenary has less depth than 621 1/2

Verdict Day is the most fun I have had with a single player game since my first 3 playthroughs of Fires of Rubicon honestly. The controls take a bit to get used to and there are so many stats to keep track of, but it is so much fun once you start to get into things.

I have begun on verdict day. I have no idea what I am doing and I feel so confused.
