Too often Ethan Peck plays Spock like a lot of the generically-flat Vulcans we saw in TNG-era Trek. A lot of his line readings sound like "I. Am. Getting. An. Unusual. Reading. On. Thee. Sensohrs." Spock never sounded that stiff and unnatural.

Recently my wife was rewatching Castle and I was watching the early seasons of Law & Order. It occurred to me that if Ben Stone had to prosecute the cases that Beckett and Castle "solved" it would drive him nuts because most of the confessions they obtained would be ruled inadmissible.

I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.
