We're home from our vacation. I just slept for a couple of hours and I feel like I could sleep until tomorrow.

I forgot that I-5 around Seattle is going to be closed today. I wonder if we should just take the detour or extend our trip by one night. We both have Monday off from work and it's an easier drive when you break it up.

We stopped at Cannon Beach yesterday on our way down the coast.

It's so nice to have the day off after leaving for a short camping trip. I had a leisurely morning, made breakfast, took a shower, and now I'm running errands. I'll be back home by noon at the latest and I'll have at least a few hours to finish prepping and packing before we leave.

Has anyone had an okay time adapting to progressive lenses? I think I might have to get them after my next eye appointment. I've been having to take my glasses off for reading.

I only work two more days this week! Then we're off to the Oregon coast. I'm excited to go camping with my family! I'm also excited that it's not going to be very hot! You might say it's not even going to be hot at all. I think it was in the low 60s last I looked.

We went out for First Friday and it was nice! We went to Dakota, Allied Arts, Geheim, Voxel, Whatcom Museum, and Make.Shift. We also got to see some great alley murals. There was so much good art. I loved the show at Geheim. The petrified tree show at Whatcom Museum was amazing.

I'm pretty sure it's the extendable mirror above our sink that I use to hang our camping lantern to provide light for doing the dishes.
