It got drowned out in all the good news from last night, but Boston Mayor Michelle Wu became the youngest person to be reelected in the city's history. She ran unopposed because her opponent--Patriots owner Bob Kraft's son--withdrew a few months ago after realizing he had no hope of winning.

Murder is wrong. Pogroms are wrong. Using a murder to incite a pogrom against a small and vulnerable group in society is wrong. (If Iâm not mistaken, an assassination was the excuse for the wave of mob but state-sanctioned violence in Russia in 1881 that gave us the term âpogrom.â)

I am getting multiple reports that the Trump admin is NOT complying with the court order requiring passport updates for transgender people. Some passport agencies are being told not to give trans people passports with their correct gender marker, for now.
