Helping make TV happen. Everything I say is my fault and my fault alone.
I'm always a sucker for a new Forza Horizon game. Not a car game dude but I've played them since 4.

Every time I see a Washington Post Opinion video doing the rounds, I assume

De Blasio: ‘Well, Well, Well, Not So Easy To Find A Mayor That Doesn’t Suck Shit, Huh?’
NEW YORK—Clucking his tongue with mock disappointment, Bill De Blasio announced to New Yorkers that “It’s not so easy to find a mayor that doesn’t suck shit after all, huh?” during a press conference ...

I repeat: THE PITT is saving television. And not in the flippant, "I just really like it" way. THE PITT has a full writers room, full crew, full seasons and is wildly popular. It's the type of TV that execs thought was dead, and, most importantly, it's the type of TV viewers will always crave.

My dark humour went to "Wouldn't it be something if sexism ended up causing an outbreak?" but it's actually somehow stupider because this was *an onboard doctor* on the hantavirus ship. She got told it's all in your head *ON THE PLAGUE SHIP.*

Rewatching Iron Man 2. I understand many think it's not that great. But turns out I've forgotten it has both an Elon Musk and a Larry Ellison cameo. So it's actually worse than you remember.

I continue to be flabbergasted that other (non-insane) governments aren't making similar changes. The Canadian government won't shut up about how important "digital sovereignty" is, and then it pours resources into posting everything to Twitter and Facebook.

Just finished Pragmata. Absolutely stellar game. The story is ok, if still very affecting. But the gameplay stays fun, fresh, fast and challenging, without becoming enraging,. until the very end. An impressive balancing act.

I'd argue that unfucking US farms fucked by fuel costs due to Iran, potash tariffs against Canada and others, trade hostility causing an Anything-But-US sentiment and the death of USAID as a purchaser are good for all Americans and a sellable message to rural America.

Been playing Pragmata. Fun, punchy combat with surprisingly brisk maneuverability (despite being, you know, an astronaut with a child on your back). Vibes wise, it feels like Control's distant sci-fi cousin, with AI taking the place of the supernatural.
