Today my little junior parkrun, where we usually have 30-40 kids taking part, had a visit from a primary school and we ended up with 79 kids. Super fun. Slightly chaotic. Excellent start to a Sunday.

Description of sand is 100% what 3/4 of the people in my house think of sand. Eldest child doesn't understand why pebble beaches aren't more popular as (1) not sand and (2) oooh rocks.

Glad to see this. Not unexpected, she was very helpful when she was my MP and we were having a nightmare with the EHCP process. It's an area she clearly cared about. Hope it has some impact on the proposals.

The initial reviews of this on Theatre Board that I read were absolutely singing its praises. But that probably makes for a less clickbaity headline. They made me very excited to see it in August though, actually considered getting an earlier ticket on the strength of the reviews.

Went out this evening and did some hill repeats, I'm trying out Runna to fill the c25k void and give my running a bit of form. It was hard but I feel amazing as for the first time in at least a decade that I've felt like a runner. Fitness is back. Endorphins are high. Feel like myself again.

Managed a PB at parkrun despite the hot weather. Admittedly I should be getting a PB most weeks currently as I used to mostly walk and now I mostly run. But minor details. The mighty oak provided shade and support for stretching afterwards.

Thoroughly depressed to see our local CAMHS is having to advertise for volunteer admin support assistants. Volunteering is a great thing of course. But that just speaks volumes about the current funding crisis in CAMHS.
