A Grey Nomad just watched me break down my inflatable catamaran and put it into a bag and said “That’s a very neat setup you got there mate”, so if someone could call my biological father for me and tell him I have a new Dad now that would be great.

Anyone can become disabled at any time. Your life can change in an instant, no matter how strong and healthy you think you are. People will leave you. Funds will dry up. Life will get tougher. It’s not a moral failing. It’s a minority group you can join anytime.

I propose that in october we permanently shift all clocks back by only 30 minutes & then fucking leave them there forever after. And if you think that's somehow more absurd than the DST/SDT dance, please take a deep breath and remember that clock time is fake & was invented for trains. It'll be fine

Unsure how to report on this fresh absurdity? Translation: the U.S. and Israel, both nuclear powers who have already flattened Gaza, now claim a moral duty to 'preemptively' bomb Iran. Why? A sudden concern for international law and paranoia Iran might develop the very weapons they already have.

this is how colonial white patriarchy is actively reproduced, generation after generation. Racists do not die off, taking racism with them. Passage of time is not a change agent. That idea (effluxion, judges call it) is a deeply ingrained hegemonic lie. Change is resistance, refusal, struggle.
