If the mayor doesn’t want people sleeping on our streets, then he should invest in the actual housing they need. This policy is indefensible.

Sweeps do nothing more than punish people for being homeless. $3.5 million wasted on this idiotic, counterproductive, and inhumane policy that only makes life harder for people struggling to survive and get back on their feet.
