I never had any impact on the internet but I did draw this and went kinda viral on Twitter many years ago. Haven't been able to make anything like it sense but still one of my all time favorite art pieces.

I've found this site to get more engagement reliably for my art that doesn't have "mass appeal". My followers actually SEE my posts here unlike on the bird site. That site is still easier to get bigger numbers on, but big number means NOTHING compared to having your followers actually seeing you.

Greeeeat, they (tried to?) get me too. Apparently this is mostly affecting Shopify stores, which I believe hosts through AWS. This is fucked. I have purposefully avoided having my products on Amazon this whole time. I want no part in this creepy data mining operation of theirs.

I'm extremely tempted to contact a family friend who is a copyright/patent lawyer about this. See if it can be made a class action lawsuit, because it is INSANE that Amazon ever thought scraping other shops' listings is permissible.

The games industry has a proud tradition of neon green/pink/checkerboard placeholder assets for a reason. Videogames look horrible during development. It's normal! (Also some of the best laughs I ever had during my time in videogames dev came from encountering intentionally horrendous coder art.)

I ended up refunding Clair Obscure after much deliberation: I would have loved it when I finally got into the mood for a jrpg again, but the dev's lying about their use of AI soured it enough for me that I dont think I would enjoy it anymore. I still have a massive backlog, so oh well, 1 less game.
