Axew really is the best starter for Gates, gets Dual Chop as a multi hit move and a Draco Meteor STAB room clear that has a downside that can be easily mitigated with a Twist Band. Add that with Dragon Dance, and you’re looking at a terrifying dreadnaught in the dungeons.

I think one of my favorite pieces of sound design is something concealed being removed. Materials sliding against each other from a sword being unsheathed, or a cloak being taken off, all that stuff! It just gets me feeling all sorts of tense about something being revealed in a very good way ^w^
