4/5. An interesting take on both the zombie film AND the "small town with a dark secret" subgenre. Well directed, good cast, good music, excellent gore & practical effects, very unique story. If you like films that explore the dark underbelly of what appears to be a wholesome town, this is for you!

4.5/5. An absolutely stellar freshman effort from Argento. Well directed, beautifully shot, good cast, good acting, good music, some nudity & good kills, excellent story with plenty of twists & turns. If you are a thriller or Giallo fan, you simply MUST check this one out. Highly recommended.
