You know, if Shaheen and Kaine and their ilk were anything other than useless empty suits, they would at least try to justify their votes by calling for the release of the Epstein files.

I'm still baffled by all the people who think the Dems come out of this shutdown looking good. What did they get as a result? They could have just agreed to everything the Reps wanted up front. Dem approval won't go up among Rep voters, and they just tanked their ratings with their own base.

In fairness, the Democrats are the party that let an insurrection slide the last time they had power. So maybe expecting them to fight for anything was our mistake.

Since the Democratic Party decided that their wealthy donors matter more than the rest of us, then they can go ask their wealthy donors for votes. Because they sure as hell won't be getting mine.

We need a new party. One who will fight for the middle class and working people. The Democratic Party leadership has shown once again that they will never change.
