One of the more misogynistic takes currently trending in the AI policy space is "women use less AI than men because they have less tech literacy" Ok but have you considered that women use less AI than men because we have more tech literacy?

While I support the plan for free swimming lessons, I thought the biggest issue was lack of instructors/lifeguards. I'm not sure how free swimming lessons solves that. What about free lifeguard training?

I have nearly unlimited (and often early) access to all the AI, and my #1 productivity unlock of the past year has been to revert to taking handwritten notes. I even re-learned cursive to make it faster.

Spent my morning commute thinking about people who buy fake luxury products…and wondering why. Nobody believes you bought an $1,800 tote bag. Why not just buy a nicely designed bag that you can afford?

I mean there’s one thing they always say in construction, “projects will cost less in the future.” I guess cost escalation just doesn’t exist in BC.

Meet the B.C. photographer using sagebrush, chokecherries and shells to develop film | CBC News
Long gone are the days of taking a photo and waiting for it to be developed before you can see how it turned out. Instead, we carry cameras in our pockets, snapping images and video wherever we go and...
