I'm curious, what is your main beef with console "generations"? They are ill defined, are very skewed to the US experience, and many systems straddle between them. But they are still useful to classify things by broad strokes. What would you use instead?

MSU1-enhanced games for SNES are cool, but I'd be really impressed if there were homebrew games/ports made for the (rare but actually released) SuperGrafx+CDROM combo
