Have a mirror close to you desk were you draw. If you have hesitation about your facial expression or anatomy, look at the mirror, your body is your base

If you make your artwork at least twice the size it needs to be when printed/reproduced, shrinking it will tighten your details and lines and make everything so much better. Not to mention its easier work in details with a bigger canvas. This works both digitally and traditionally.

when i was quite young i wanted to be the sort of artist that just posted their art and never said anything. as you can tell, that did not work out for me because i kind of realized that's way less fun for me. i like it when my art can be a catalyst for connection.

these types of paintings are so disturbing to me because you can tell for how realistic some of them are, even when it's stylized, that the artist who made it isn't influenced by prescribed hollywood media like today, and likely saw some shit with their own eyes
