We just got home today after a week long stay in the hospital. My 11mo daughter ended up with RSV; it took a bad turn and she ended up in the PICU on a cpap. Recommend making sure you get any babies or elderly folks vaccinated. I deeply appreciate all of the drs/nurses/RRTs that took care of her.

We’ve been in the circle of ear infection hell at my house since before Christmas. Both of my kids have had not 1 but 2 ear infections and most likely have to get tubes (my daughters first and my sons 2nd set) and then I also got an ear infection on Monday. We have co-payed out the ass for dr visits

Someone bought a bunch of the turkeys and hams at our local grocery in town and told the manager to make them available for free to folks that need them. There’s a whole freezer case with a sign on it that just says “If you need one take one, if you don’t then leave it for someone else.”
