I have sadly come across this business model with one such publisher and I too was baffled by both their hatred of money and their love of self inflicted wounds

Still genuinely baffled by the comics publisher whose business model seems to be 1.) Hire acclaimed artists 2.) Make single issues difficult to buy and almost impossible to discover 3.) Refuse, as a matter of principle, to ever release the stories digitally or as collected volumes
