Today's PSA Seelie & Unseelie are Scots terms, coming from lowland folklore. Seelie, meaning blessed or lucky, is a euphemism for the Good Neighbours that dates to the 15th century. The Unseelie court (unlucky, ungodly group of Fair Folk) is a later addition which appears by the 19th century.

There is no preserved Irish Pagan creation myth. Anything you see claiming to be that is modern & basically fiction It's fine if one of these stories speaks to you but it's important not to forward it as historic material. It being presented as "genuine" causes a lot of confusion
