This x1000. I suspect some assume a low middle income when they hear ex-New Yorkers complain about the cost of living in that city. That can be true. NYC is certainly too expensive for low middle income families, but it's also too expensive for middle and even most high middle income families.

Finished BioShock Infinite replay. A few notes: 1. I liked seeing the dystopia pre-war. 2. The game goes out of its way to make the VOX just as bad Comstock's society, which is a choice. 3. I feel like the game could done more to foreshadow the ending, which felt unearned. 4. Still had fun.

While at first I didn't think too highly of MarioKart World's straightaways, I have come around. Not only are they made more fun in World by the various mechanics added, they also fix a major issue with its predecessor. MarioKart 8's gloriously windy tracks effectively nerf mushrooms.

This is so timely as I am currently replaying Bioshock Infinite, a game that reduces its female lead to being the make protagonists power up and backpack. Obviously, I still enjoy the game or I wouldn't be replaying it, but I think this specific form sexism often gets overlooked.
