I think this is related to the increasing expectation that art is content - that artists should provide banquets to consume. Like when I did some DA:V stickers, the expectation that I owe people THEIR blorbo. And also, the 'well you didn't think of THIS!!' urge to seem smarter and better at fandom.

Real talk, and I think y'all know better so I'm just venting, one of the most frustrating things to hear after posting art is "why didn't you do [x]?" or "you should do [y]." It's okay for artists to make only things they like, for characters they like. They don't owe anyone complete sets.
