the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.

When I go on Facebook and Instagram these days I see my friends back home standing up together and making their communities stronger. When I call my parents I hear about what’s being done to help. When I come on Bluesky I see a bunch of people saying that bad things will happen no matter what.

What amuses me the most are the people acting surprised by his behavior and calling it “redemption,” as if anything he’s doing isn’t consistent with who he has always represented himself to be—a committed liberal who is very intense about everything (for better or worse).
