Any time I see an animator doing proper self-reference, the game itself looks/moves great too. This one's no exception! Knowing your own body and knowing how it felt to hold that reference gives you a lot more to work with than finding someone else doing the pose. Both are good, but self is better.

Genuinely happy that the 7 year long development time was spent working at a leisurely pace, spending time with their families and flexing their creative muscles - with no pressure to expand their company, deliver sooner or read a single reddit post. Smartest people in our entire industry.

The replacement of everything with generative AI is NOT inevitable, but it sure is if you all shrug and say "Well, it's inevitable" like your brain was washed in bad predictive SF for decades.
