The San Jose win is the only victory against good competition in league play, FCD too if we are charitable. Draw against Minnesota and loss to RSL are the only other results against playoff teams. Sounders have had a cakewalk schedule thus far and aren't taking full advantage beacuase no goals.

It gets hidden by the shellacking of the Whitecaps in two legs and desparation versus Tigres, but the Sounders are really bad at scoring goals. They hung 4 on nearly-last place St Louis City, and 2 each on Dallas and Colorado. No more than 1 against anyone else.

Sounders have really good defense, but not good enough to overcome scoring more than one goal only 3 times in 10 matches.
