4/ Denmarkâs schedule works because of what sits underneath it: universal care, paid leave, centralized records, and near-perfect follow-up. In the U.S., where care is fragmented and missed visits are common, routine recommendations prevent kids from falling through the cracks.

1/ Well, he did it. He actually did it. RFK Jr. just issued a unilateral directive to overhaul the U.S. childhood vaccine schedule. This isnât based on new data or new evidence, and he bypassed every scientific and clinical process we have, including not taking public comment.

I again wish to point out that it is utterly catastrophic that RFK Jr. has unilaterally ended CDC recommendations for many childhood vaccines. Itâs a betrayal of science, ethics, compassion, and the people of the United States. And it was also a specific goal of Project 2025 (page 254).

Not clear how this will shake out since the specific hotel in question is independently owned, but worth noting in 2020 Hilton corporate told ICE "the detainment of migrants, including minors, is not activity that we in any way want associated with our hotels."

What's happening in Venezuela isn't war, it's deal-making (and back-stabbing). As VP Delcy Rodriguez assumes power, let's re-read the Miami Herald's reporting that she negotiated with Trump in 2025 for this outcome - new boss, same regime - and that she's involved in drug trafficking herself. 1/

If your concern is about fraud, and making sure the poorest receive funds, block grants are the opposite of what we should do. They allow states to redirect the money away from the neediest. OTOH, there is very persuasive evidence that SNAP really helps people.
