It's been five years since it was revealed that Blue Sky Studios would be shuttering and I'm still not over it. It's still a massive loss for animation and I know they really could've shined this decade with ambitious films like Nimona had they endured. I'll forever miss them.

10: The Muppet Show (2026) by Alex Timbers :D Nah but fr, it was such a fun time!! I can tell that this was such a loving recreation of the old shows format and at the end of the day, it kept up the silly muppet energy that I love from the muppets very well. YOU BETTER WATCH IT!!!

The Muppet Show revival was honestly pretty damn fun and felt like the old show without changing what made it work. I hope that it becomes a success and Disney brings this back. The world needs more of the Muppets.

I just finished the new #TheMuppetShow special with Sabrina Carpenter on ABC. Holy crap, that was great. The original Muppet Show we all know and love is back with the same sketches, the same Muppets, the same hilarious comedy, and some great guest stars. I hope they pick it up for a full revival.

You know, come to think of it…if not for the pandemic, not only would the Disney/Pixar animated films of 2020 would’ve made half a billion dollars at the box office (Soul would’ve kept in theaters on the June release date and Raya would’ve stayed in November)…

I heard some good things about this guy. He's responsible for spearheading newer Muppets stuff at the Parks division. And he sat down with cast members who were laid off during the Covid and comfort them. From the sounds of it, he's the "Michael Eisner" type that Disney really needs right now.

40 years ago today, Pixar Animation Studios was created and went on to change not just animation, but the entire film industry by making many of what are now some of the most iconic animated features in history, and their legacy is still going strong today by releasing great hits year after year.

PLEASE, everyone reading this, for the love of God, watch the new special on Disney+. If you still watch regular TV, watch it when it airs on ABC tomorrow night (technically tonight). We want the ratings and streaming numbers to be as high as possible so ABC actually greenlights a whole season.

Forty years ago today, Pixar Animation Studios was founded. One of the most important and best animation studios around, they've made some of the best animated films ever which have such emotional stories and riveting characters that continue to touch audiences hearts every time.
