I'm absolutely devastated and shocked to hear that Daveigh Chase passed away yesterday at the age of 35. Chase really did such wonderful work voicing Lilo in Lilo and Stitch in Chihiro in Spirited Away and her legacy will really live in those films. Such a massive loss.

There was something about her performance that brought such humanity to the character. She isn’t tearing up, she’s a broken child dealing with grief and relating to her friend.

Daveigh Chase has sadly passed away at the age of 35. She was best known for her role as Samara in ‘The Ring,’ as well as voicing Lilo in Disney’s ‘Lilo & Stitch’ and Chihiro in the English-language version of ‘Spirited Away.’

I been noticing that people are saying that this movie is a ripoff of The Owl House but I don’t think it is. I love The Owl House but people have to realize that there have been several fantasy stories with a similar premise of an outcast human being going to a magical world.

What do Illumination and 2020s Disney Animation have in common? They’re both excessively hated on by the Cartoon Community for putting out weaker movies and “playing it safe” with their character models, all in favor of putting others like Sony/DreamWorks on a pedestal, just to fuel a trend.

We’ll see. It’s gonna take more trailers and clips to convince me that this franchise is worth continuing after that fourth movie’s ending.

It doesn’t look too bad so far… But can we PLEASE not constantly compare this to The Owl House?! I’m tired of hearing those kinds of complaints!

So we’re finally getting the entire Kingdom Hearts series on the Switch 2, and none of them are cloud-based! As long as it’s not too expensive, count me in! 👏👏👏

There shouldn't be any sort of competition between Indie Animation and Mainstream Animation as people can simply choose to enjoy and apprecate both of them for what they bring in terms of their storytelling.

The way they screwed this show over by cancelling it and straight-up pulling it from everywhere (Disney+, YouTube, and every Disney Channel) except digital download stores is incredibly dirty.

Y'all realize that Toy Story 5 is gonna blow all of these out of the water, right? It's great to be excited about the success of these projects, but you're an idiot if you think it'll even make a dent in Disney's bottom line.

I ended up revisiting bits of Who Framed Roger Rabbit just for fun and I'm always amazed by how good the filmmaking is. The scene with Eddie Valliant in his office is some amazing storytelling with Zemeckis and Dean Cundey allowing the camera to tell all alongside the score.

All I gotta say spoiler-free regarding the TADC finale: Everyone who harassed Gooseworx over the leaks should feel great shame for the rest of their lives, that was an absolutely fantastic finish.

I'm never letting this go. Keep in mind, they were okay with straight-up body horror and nightmare fuel but not Alex having a gay couple on screen for a millisecond.
