I finished Final Fantasy IX! Some gameplay mechanics really annoyed me, but this has easily become my second favorite Final Fantasy. I loved how whimsical the setting was, the characters were fun and endearing, Kuja became a great villain by the end and the story had me hooked the whole time.

Idk if there's an RPG that lets you set the command used during auto battle, but that should be the next major advancement in the RPG genre.
