I would like to propose a bill. The bill would fine all members of Congress $100,000 for each consecutive day the government is shut down. The collected money would go to a fund used to cover the back pay of affected Federal employees.

Watching Jon Stewart talking about his dog that passed away was very emotional. Having been through this many times in my long life, I totally relate. Adopting or fostering any pet is worth every tear shed when they leave us. Tony
