This has been rly hard for me to wrap my head around bc I have known yt trans women irl who are v racist and refuse to be introspective using their identity as a shield. I also have known *a lot more* people who are cis POCs and are incredibly anti-LGBT. These are important conversations to have.

I find it unsurprising to learn that Doll was AAVE for Black Trans Woman and that white pipo co-opted it and applied solely to White Trans Women. A heck of a lot of AAVE was stolen by yt people and fragrantly misused, abused, and distorted the meaning of. It all goes back to racism which is rampant.
