The BOYS tv show is like they hired people just to walk back and forth and say mean things. Like Roombas with insult generators attached. It is so godawfully DULL to look at. I watched random scenes of the show Preacher and they did amazing camera work. Not special effects, just cool bits.

I want the #GIJoe comic books to focus more on the 'way' of Shipwreck the sailor from the GIJoe cartoon, Namely, on the seas Shipwreck is a brilliant, top-notch sailor. On land, Shipwreck is a disaster.

The fiction movie 10 Items Or Less. We saw a lot of an independent grocery store. I wanted to shop there. The lights were not glaring, the place sparkled with cleanliness. Even the hand written signs were highly professional. The rows were easy to understand and traverse.

The Woody Harrellson movie called Lost In London. For one, it's true to it's title. The main character gets lost in London. Secondly, it's an amazing movie you should go into knowing ONLY it's title. Only. It'd be a shame to know even more. The movie is just that damn good.

Creepy pasta audio fiction: Some stories involve a civilian seeing employees doing something weird in face of something weirder. And they join on the weird because it is obviously the safest thing to do. This is good writing and good advice and I like it.

The Morgan Freeman movie 10 Items Or Less. Lots of the regular every day things the characters did were remarkably like my every day life in Florida, so it gave me the feelings, because Florida was a lot. And yes, I once drove around town with Morgan Freeman and we had wacky adventures.

The Alice In Wonderland/Johnny Depp movies have women with power, skills and agency. In the real world and beyond Alice is a brilliant woman with the skills to pay the bills. I'd have watched her story even without any mirrors or rabbit holes.

The sitcom Community. The witches of Lancre, Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg and Magrat Garlick, would very much approve of how conflict is solved in the show. Lots of headology in good ways. One horrible problem was solved simply by an intentional stage misdirection.

For absolutely no reason, I'm reminded of how Star Trek captains stick to asylum grants. If Starfleet gives someone asylum, they are protected! Starfleet does not fuck around with this policy.

With the current DC / Marvel crossover, we should have Guy Gardener and Strong Guy bond over their mutual accidental destruction of the Washington Monument. Then they make out.

#Spoilers for the quality horror film 'Apartment 143'. There was a wonderful amount of background clues, or more specially, lack of, to tell me right away some of what was going on. There was a lot/little to Apartment 143 and it all told a story.

A zombie creepypasta I read had the civilians winning out through teamwork. Yes, that reminds me of current events to. One fun example was people in a second floor safe room holding up signs full of important information for people passing by. Yes, some roads were safe(r) for pedestrians.

I appreciate scary stories that don't pile on the melodrama. A recent creepypasta I read focused on a small hospital deep in the mountains. It was an absolutely fantastic hospital, staffed by skilled men and women. It was only the basement that was bad somehow.

When I am having sinus clogs, sneezing up gross stuff, a Mountain Dew clears the pipes. Where Nyquil barely alleviates the problem, Mountain Dew flushes it all out. Gross. But I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth.

I appreciate the creepypasta writers who have a valid excuse for their protagonists entering the scary tunnels. One was a safety inspector. Another, looking for his dog. Third, a nurse thought doing so would rescue a very ill patient.
