This should be big news, but it’s barely a whisper. The Trump admin is focusing on the wrong problem. The fraud isn’t w/SNAP recipients, it’s with outside scammers. USDA let outdated SNAP cards stay vulnerable, and families lost about $555 million in food benefits, not to “cheating,” but to theft.

This can’t be repeated enough. Not only won’t they investigate, they may never even tell us who did this. Think about the message that sends to the next ones. Nobody is safe.
