Labour promised cheaper energy bills, but instead, they are £150 higher than this time last year. People will go into this winter struggling to heat their homes. In an energy-rich country, that is unacceptable. Westminster won’t fix this – but with independence, Scotland can.

From next Monday, your rail commute will be cheaper. We’re scrapping peak rail fares in Scotland for good. Under the SNP, public ownership of rail means fairer prices – making travel cheaper, greener and easier for everyone.

Child poverty has fallen in Scotland - whilst rising sharply in the UK. Absolute child poverty in Scotland fell from 23% to 17% - the lowest figure in 30 years. SNP Scottish Government policies are working to deliver on our top priority of eradicating child poverty.

The Labour UK Government have confirmed they have withdrawn £5 million in funding for Dunfermline. This is not the 'change' that people were promised.

📈 During their briefing to the press this morning, Labour-led Fife Council confirmed they intend to increase your Council Tax by 8.2%. 🏠 Council tenants will also see a 6% rise to their rental payments. 👉 The local authority will set their Budget on Thursday 20th February.
