The war-mages create more monsters for each blasted battle, and some always survive to go feral in the countryside. The mages are too high-and-mighty to clean up their mess, so the peasants are left to deal with the brutes themselves. One day they just might deal with the mages.

And I guess people might be curious about what the final panel looks like (well, I will be cleaning it up, but only once it's integrated into the page) so here it is. Thanks again and sorry to anyone whose character I couldn't use. I'm amazed and flattered at the response I got. :)

As for JKR's 60th birthday, it'd sure be a shame if the caterers brought 50 pies and all somehow tripped when presenting them to the guest of honor

I had a dream last night that I had stolen Eva and Eamonn from a Ralph Bakshi film and didn't realize it. Holy crap was I distressed trying to convince people it was accidental...while still enjoying watching the "original" Eva and Eamonn.
