A new report from Bernie Sanders' 18-month investigation reveals Amazon has identified an unsafe pace of work as the cause of its warehouse injury crisis, yet is not following internal recommendations that would address it & prevent workers from experiencing life-altering injury.

Executives that rejected recommendations to make Amazon safer for warehouse workers include then-VP for Health and Safety, Heather MacDougall. Trump is consider Heather MacDougall to run OSHA, which is supposed to enforce workplace health and safety laws. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Workers like Christine Manno, organizing with Missouri Workers Center report chronic pain, disability, destroyed lives. If Amazon matched the injury rate for the rest of the warehouse industry, Amazon workers would have suffered 53,000 fewer serious injuries from 2020-2023.

Congrats to the #Amazon workers who pushed to make this report possible. Special shout out to STL8 leaders who - after dozens of interviews with HELP staff - continued to organize, take action, and keep these issues front and center.
