TBH I've been way more interested in the lore/world-building aspects of the project and I can see myself leaning a bit heavier into that. Drawings, sketches, etc accompanied by thoughts/musings on science, tech, social dynamics in a post war world, deep dives on kaiju origins & individual Kaiju etc.

I've been a little off the radar for the past few weeks due to the holidays and kids being off school. Back on it with YT now though. Working on a script for a two-parter on artwork. Pt1 will be the visual identity (all the 1-bit pixel stuff) & Pt2 will be more focussed on the Kaiju illustrations.

I hope it’s ok and that everyone enjoys it but it’s a very hard to thing to get through and keep interesting! One for the hardcore stats nerds, for sure. Will be out by end of week 🫶

Pen plotted (cos why make it easy, right?) 70 prototype cards to test Kaiju Origins. I've played once and it seems… really good! Def need some tweaks, but very positive signs. Testing lots more over weekend to ensure this isn't a fluke, but I'm super excited—genuinely thought it'd be more of a mess!

Been using @milanote (not on Bluesky?) to track gameplay flow, card types, deck composition of my WIP Kaiju card game. Enjoying it. It’s a great tool. Getting close to the free limit though—“Gonna need a bigger boat”—Can’t afford £11 a month(!) so I’ll have to be clever with the elements I use 😖
