It is like 80% humidity in my lab, condensation is literally running down the sample refrigerators, and on the windows. All the paper in the room is limp and feels damp. It shows 91.48% silver (±2sigma value has to do w/ how ideal the spectra is) w/ the instrument set up for soils.

Student asked me a great question in class today that I didn't have a good answer for - how do we know that dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex don't have jowls or dewlaps? ⚒️🧪 Are there muscle scars on the bones so we can tell or is it a cultural thing where we think that would look "silly"?

We are looking at the bottom of the rock which formed by sand draping over an oversaturated mud layer & blobbing down thru it. ⚒️🧪

Developed a talent for picking "simple examples" for my intro historical geology class that turn out to be a mess when we go into detail about anything. Case in point grabbed rock to show bioturbation. Medina Sandstone L. Silurian. Arthrophycus alleghaniensis - no agreement on WTF Arthrophycus is.⚒️🧪
