A great appeal of the Bayonetta games is the campy and beautiful art direction. It's no longer possible but it would've been a dream come true to see a new Bayonetta released on hardware that didn't have to crush textures and model quality.

Anime/manga with straight couple's romance is allowed to do all sorts of wild things because it's "fiction" and not real. But the second a queer romance in an anime even hints at the most vanilla "taboo" ever, people lose their shit. Hmmmm, I wonder why?! 🤔

Can't sleep so I'm watching the Black Flag Resynced reveal presentation. It looks graphically beautiful but seeing the side-by-sides with the original reminded me that the original was already visually impressive.
