[1/2] Counting their lucky stars... When RF Navy Black Sea Fleet Kilo-class diesel-electric submarine Novorossiysk deployed to the Mediterranean Sea in late August 2024 through mid-January 2025, the Rostov-na-Donu (not Novorossiysk) crew was on board.

During the Second World War, the Kreigsmarine deployed several Hilfskreuzer, converted merchant ships fitted with concealed weapons.
