the walking architectural tour in madison indiana was canceled due to rain. it’s a two hour drive from cincinnati and i don’t want the day to go to waste. so i’ll be wandering around when the weather is better and ducking into shops when it starts raining. i’ll post photos with thoughts in alt text.

halfway to madison and i drove through one hell of a thunderstorm. i’m here now but it looks like i’m in for a wet day. hopefully the walking tour isn’t canceled, but if it is, i’ll walk myself around during the drier moments and take pictures of what i can and in the wetter moments, go antiquing.

been watching a lot of home repair videos lately. it has me wishing i went into a trade when i had the chance, not for the pay or job security but to be able to help people with home maintenance which can be stressful. but my body gave out a long time ago, so it wouldn’t have worked in the long run.

seeing an increase in the number of broken down cars on the side of the road. it shows people don’t have enough money for regular maintenance and/or an emergency tow. i saw tons between 2008-2011ish.
