Holy Shit, it's actually happening. This week's Arcade Archives release is Taito's previously thought to be lost game Benjo de GO! It was previewed in 1997 but the sole PCB was thought to have been destroyed in an earthquake but one has apparently survived!! An absolutely unbelievable situation!!

This is huge!

A neat little artifact of mid-90s PC gaming in one of our big box games: printed out reminders of the display and audio specs of the PC whoever owned it back in the day. VESA drivers, actual resolutiona and colours, and those all-important soundcard IRQs and CDROM speeds.

I don't normally comment on stuff like this because I've given up on understanding this business, but I'd have to think the remasters Bluepoint was known for are maybe the closest thing we had left to a predictable business model?? I get that everything is volatile but that part feels pretty safe???
