This is a new #JWST image of the Crystal Ball Nebula, or NGC 1514. It's called a "planetary nebula" for historical reasons, but it's actually the remnants of a dying binary star—including two expanding rings of dust and gas. When our Sun becomes a red giant, it will look a little like this.
