On this day in 1932, the Winnipeg Hockey Club, representing Canada at the Olympics, captured gold in hockey. It was Canada's fourth straight gold medal in hockey. Canada outscored their opponents 32 to 4. Walter Monson was the leading scorer with 11 points in six games.
