week long blackout right after the policy changes are announced that begins the day after it's publicised is not a good idea. you're not gonna be getting enough people to participate and this whole thing is made to get us gone anyway, we're just doing their job for them

actions that will contribute more to pushing against bluesky's censorship than a blackout: -submitting a feedback request -@ing moderation about it -commenting on mods posts about it -making and sharing memes (ex: "i consent!" sticker) -leaving an app store review -just generally posting about it

This is a BAD idea from a tactical pov all this means is an issue that bsky mods do NOT want controversy around will have NO posting about it for a full week a large number of people who come back from the "blackout" will likely not start up the complaints again it hamstrings the cause
