Today’s matinee gig at Le Pub saw 3 drummer (and ridiculously loud) The House of All ably supported by the excellent European Sun. Their sound man needs to take a hearing test before he deafens anyone on their future gigs!

Was great to attend the launch of the “Fan led review of live and electronic music” presented by Kevin Brennan in Le Pub, Newport earlier. Hopefully it will help secure the future of live music and encourage improvements for all who attend events in the UK -

Sorry to hear about the passing of Andy Kershaw. He obviously had a few issues in recent years but was an excellent ambassador of new music in the early 80s. I recall him being the road manager for Billy Bragg in 1984. I must reread his autobiography. RIP Andy Kershaw
