Don’t do “big gigs” often but huge respect to the Pet Shop Boys for their amazing show in Cardiff Castle this evening! Two hours of mesmerisingly music complemented by constantly changing stage action with coordinated lights, costume and musicians throughout the set! See them if you can. Amazing!

Still recovering from last weekends jaunt to Glasgoes Pop! So many fantastic bands and always good to catch up with friends old and new. Hard to pick favourites but will highlight The Cords, Stuart Murdoch, Mt Misery & Chime School among the many….

Great to see MG Boulter play at The Globe in Hay-on-Wye this evening. Great songs and musicianship in a stunning venue with added tension of whether the inflatable dinosaur that escaped from an earlier kids party would land on his head as it slowly deflated during the set!

45 years ago today I played my first ever gig as a teenage guitarist in a band! The Lumberjacks supported the incredible The Tea Set & The Bodies at St Albans College 4th July 1980! We went on to play a number of gigs that summer around North London, of which, two ended in full-on riots! 😳
