15 minutes into “Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story” and already in awe. Discovered Jackie’s music in 2016/2017 along with so many and wondered where she’d disappeared to. It’s a blessing that her trailblazing story can be told with her guidance even after her passing in 2019.

Popped into McKay’s today. Picked up the autobiography of the late, great, iconic Lady Chablis. Opened the book up and boom, autographed. $3 purchase. I kinda have the best luck when thrifting/shopping.
