Had a great time at the tribute to Clem Burke at the Bowery Palace last night! Organized by Kathy Valentine of the Go-Go's - singing here with the hastily assembled Clembake, along with Gina Volpe (Lunachicks), Gail Greenwood (Belly, L7, Gang of Four) and Linda Pitmon (literally every other band).

Had an amazing time last night at the celebration of Clem Burkeâs life. Itâs clear to me that his kindness and supportive enthusiasm of other musicians was as important as his indefatigable and soulful drumming.

If you've ever gone into a pet store, only to leave feeling sad, there's something you can do about it. Tell Petco and PetSmart to adopt a simple policy that would make a world of difference for wildlife: Don't sell wild-caught animals or species that the IUCN says are threatened with extinction!

Whales were really stressed when humans hunted them. But when whaling activities dropped during WWII, whales were more stressed. That's because sound travels far in the ocean, so it's super stressful when humans are busy bombing each other. War is bad for everyone.
